Sushi Warriors: Wasabi Warriors

Wasabi Warriors' Sushi Rolls
Our verdict – We just love it! Dada is not a sushi person. Her palette does not enjoy the taste of seaweed wrapped around some raw fish and Japanese rice. However, she still enjoys Japanese food as long as you limit her to ramen, miso soup, and katsu. So, I was really thrilled when I was able to do the inevitable, make her try Sushi.

Wasabi Warriors is a new sushi spot at SM Megamall. It’s more like a kiosk than a sit-in restaurant. They only have about two tables and a couple of chairs so if you want to eat in then I guess you can as long as the place is not pact else you have to settle with Grab-and-Go.

It recently had its opening at SM Megamall and really offers affordable varieties of Sushi Rolls. One thing that lured Dada to try their offerings is the dip that comes with it. I guess that made her more enthusiastic to try it. Just to show how much she enjoyed it, Dada even bought two sushi rolls to go, Teriyaki Beef and Chicken Katsu. She also had one for dine in, at least before our scheduled movie. LOL!

I would say Wasabi Warriors is not a typical sushi place. It was our first time to try sushi roll with a twist by having a mayo dip. They do have two types of dip that go with your roll, a wasabi mayo and a honey mustard mayo but if you want it "traditional way", they have kikoman and wasabi that you can also ask for.

I could say this is a must-try and definitely something that you will enjoy. These sushi rolls are delish and easy on the pocket. Their food range is between Php 100 and Php 500 for a set meal. So, just like their mantra, trying Wasabi Warriors can make you Eat Good, Do Good and Feel Good.
