Tagaytay | Piña Colina

So I guess, one of the perks working under a great management team is that they give you the money to work and have fun all at the same time. :)
The biggest accommodation at Piña Colina, The Cabin

And, this is how Piña Colina was brought into picture. Definitely, this is not a dada and mimi trip rather Mimi’s office work venture. The Leadership team of the department I am overseeing had requested for a Strategic Planning event where we can go out of the office, think outside of the box and discuss processes, changes that can be implemented to make the team better.

Condo Type Accomodation
I have been searching the net for Tagaytay accommodations and found this place way back. I did mention one time to Dada that I wanted us to visit the place but failed to do so due to different travel priorities last year.

So, three months ago when I was given the office budget I created a proposal of having Piña Colina as our main place to stay and got an approval. There were 6 of us so I got two Standard Studio Rooms that have twin beds and paid an additional Php 150.00 for additional bunk for each of the third person on both rooms. Each room cost, Php 3,000 exclusive of breakfast although cooking or bringing of food is a non issue (no corkage fees). There's also a back grill on each of the room that can serve as your cooking or grilling place.

The great thing about this place is that it has everything that you wanted to experience in Tagaytay. A great ambiance, being close to nature, swimming, (well that's if you can take in the coldness of Tagaytay air) and solemnity. It is a peaceful place that can make you loosen up and feel relax. Oh, did I mention that they also have a Spa that offers affordable rates. Oh yeah!
Inside Piña Colina, Pine Trees :)

The only not-so-good commentary that I have is the road that will lead you to the Resort. It is very steep. It was a rough ride for us. Rough Road + Steepness. And if you decide to take the Cavite route, there is a great possibility that you'll end up missing their sign. They do have a very small “Welcome to Piña Colina” sign right before the tiny road going inside.

Overall, it was a great experience. The staff there are very nice and very responsive as our transactions were purely online. They also have a sari-sari store (convenience store) where you can buy carbonated drinks, beer and chips.
