Well Done Steak with Pesto Pasta

Dada and I can be considered as “regulars” at Lancaster Hotel. Last year, we had three reservations with them and it was also last year when we had the chance to try their Valentine’s Dinner.

Valentine’s is one of those days that we never fail to celebrate as a couple regardless if we have been together for a while now. So, we booked a room and took advantage of their special dinner. It was a three-course meal, with soup, salad, steak and cream dessert with glasses of wine.

Dada knows how I love to eat or even cook my steak with wine, so we were up to that deal.

Lancaster’s dining place is located at the lobby, it is small but the music and the lights made the ambiance feel really romantic. Tables and chairs were specifically arranged by twos giving it a much sense to everyone that you have to dine in with someone special with you. Hehehe!

The Bar

We were approached and escorted to our seats, and when the waitress assigned to our table saw that we were settled in, along came out our appetizers. They have been really attentive as we were finishing our soup and salad, along came out the highlight of the meal which is the steak.

Caesar Salad

The steak were cooked okay for me, I am doped with medium-rare steaks but what was served was a well done meat. Well I didn’t complain because the steak sauce mix in the plate complimented how well done the meat was. It was well done but still has that moist. So it’s an-a-ok for me. I never saw what the Wine brand was but Lancaster do have a lot of Wine offerings at the bar where you can even have a free taste of each before choosing what suits your palette. Kind a cool for me.

The evening really went well, they have musicians playing the most romantic songs giving you the vibe before going back up and continuing celebrating Heart's Day. It was indeed a very pleasant experience for Dada and I. One of those moments that you can cherish being together. A great meal, great person to be with and a sensual conversation.
